HealthLine Systems, Inc. I designed and built this entire website and maintained it for a year and a half including many SEO improvements. The company produces credentialing software and has cilents based primarily in the United States.

CredentialsOnLine

CredentialsOnLine is a HealthLine Systems, Inc. subsidiary. I wanted to investigate a darker look than the usual medical colors, blue and white. This design wasn't used but it was a great learning exercise for how to ignore a previous design to come up with something new.

Eyecom (Eyecom2 to Eyecom3)

Eyecom3, a subsidiary of HealthLine Systems, Inc. is a big player in the optometric market in the States. It was in dire need of a design refresh and traffic increased 25% as a result of this redesign.

Fishpond Home Page Redesign

Fishpond.co.nz, New Zealand's Biggest Online Store put out a call for applicants to redesign their home page and to describe three things to do to improve its overall performance. My three suggestions then the images:

1. A cohesive color palette. At the moment there are more than three colors for the brand, and none really work together: orange, blue, green, light yellow, and light green. My first task would be to create a styleguide for the site and then implement it.
2. Reduce the number of products on the home page. Not only does this speed up load time for the page, good for SEO (though the site rank is quite good it could be improved) but it's hard on the eye. Customers see 'cheap' and 'unreliable' with pages crammed with too much information.
3. What's the most important element on this home page? Search or purchase? I'd have to say purchase but Search is at the top. I'd definitely change this, keeping the typical user in mind. Some user testing can suss this out pretty quickly.

Ponoko "Make a Product" Redesign

Ponoko is a great New Zealand micromanufacturing website, and I had some ideas for how to make it even better by streamlining what I believe to be their primary goal - selling product to DIY technically-inclined, web-savvy users.

Orion Health Careers Case Study - Balsamiq Lo Fi Mockups

I examined the Orion Health Careers Pages and found that the sitemap was not a clear path and the navigation ended up being tertiary and quaternary at best - not good enough for the HR Department. So after meeting with them, it was determined we could add a primary link to the bottom fo every page, just above the footer, as well as add secondary links under a redesigned site navigation to remind the user of their location in the Careers section at all times. In addition to managing three different website redesign projects I designed DVD packaging and marketing materials for independent and popular films. I was able to save the company $35,000/year on decreased printing costs through increased efficiency and mac troubleshooting skills.

2002 - 2004 St. Thomas Creations

St. Thomas Creations was growing by leaps and bounds due to distribution by Home Depot and Lowe's stores in the States. I created this quarter pallet display which served as floor storage and display simultaneously, negating the neeed to unpack and stack the product in two steps.

I got to do many different things at MTX. I directed photoshoots, created new products, and updated branding for products sold in big box stores like Circuit City and Best Buy in the United States.
