Of the many presenters on day one (I couldn’t attend day two) some highlights were hearing about GameFroot, a WordPress-based game creation tool and TangataWhenua.com, a Maori News and Views website based in Rotorua. Both are wonderful examples of what you can do with WordPress; life-changing kind of stuff.
There’s also some noises about a WordPress meetup, I’m excited to hear more about this. Auckland has lots of WordPress developers and designers, and it’s about time we all got together regularly. Stay tuned.
I believe in usability - I design for users first. I love helping people wiith their WordPress and Front End Web Development. My primary specialties are HTML, CSS, and jQuery. I started in print design in 1995 and moved to the web full time in 2007.
